Showcasing Abbotsford’s green technology, businesses, and the active not-for-profit community. Come shop for a cause with a host of local environmental organizations, or find out what the City of Abbotsford and local businesses are doing to take care of our piece of the planet.

Set your kids loose on a new kind of playground!

One that uses loose and recycled parts to foster environmental stewardship, agency, and leadership. Materials that move, combine and change can expand your child’s creative play possibilities exponentially.   (Plus, it’s fun!)


Enjoy the worldly sounds of Rhythm and Cello, a music duo ready to quell your folk, rock, reggae and Latin music cravings on acoustic guitar and cello!

Band members John Welsh and Stephanie Glegg meld their musical and songwriting talents with vocal harmonies for an eclectic sound that appeals to a broad demographic.

Live music starts at 1pm!

Need to get your bike ready for spring?  Bring your bike to the event for a free tune-up.


Join in on a community litter pick up around Mill Lake Park.  Clean up supplies will be available on site between 1pm and 3pm at the City of Abbotsford Volunteer Services Booth.  For more information on volunteering with the City, visit .


Save water by using a rain barrel to water your garden!  Preordered rain barrels can be picked up from the parking lot located at the Bevan Rd entrance to Mill Lake Park.  Order online at


Find out what happens to the food and yard waste collected by the City each week!  The first 250 residents can pick up 2 free 4L bags of Net Zero Waste compost.  Residents can also enter to win an additional 1 yard of free compost to be picked up from the Net Zero Waste composting facility.  Proof of Abbotsford residency is required to claim the free compost.


Drop off your old tires and rims for recycling with the Tire Stewardship Council of British Columbia!  Tires and rims can be dropped off for free during the event in the parking lot located at the Bevan Rd entrance to Mill Lake Park.  For more information on tire recycling in BC, visit


We encourage you to walk, bike or use public transit, but if you must bring a car, parking is available at Godson Elementary School and MSA Arena.
